Q. Who is this program for?

Answer: The Ladies of Distinction Virtual Academy is designed for girls ages 11 to 18 who are ready to grow in confidence, purpose, and leadership. It’s for young ladies who may be shy or uncertain about their identity, as well as those already walking boldly in their gifts but looking for mentorship and meaningful sisterhood. Whether your daughter, niece, student, or mentee is in middle school or high school, this academy offers a safe, supportive, and faith-based environment where she’ll be inspired to dream big, speak life, and walk in distinction.

Q. What tech is needed to participate?

Answer: 

To participate in the Ladies of Distinction Virtual Academy, your daughter will need:

•  A device with internet access (laptop, tablet, or smartphone)

•  Access to Zoom for live weekly sessions

•  An email address to receive program materials and updates

We also recommend headphones and a quiet space for each session, but it’s not required. All materials will be shared digitally, and no advanced tech skills are needed — just the willingness to show up and grow!

 Q. What if my daughter misses a session?

Answer: We understand that life happens! If your daughter misses a live session, she’ll still be able to access that week’s recorded lesson and complete her digital journal activities. We encourage all participants to attend live as often as possible to get the full benefit of mentorship and sisterhood, but we’ll make sure she stays on track and supported.

Q. How are mentors selected?

Answer: 

Our mentors are carefully chosen women of integrity, purpose, and compassion who are passionate about guiding and empowering the next generation. 

All mentors:

•  Submit a formal application

•  Participate in a live interview

•  Complete a required national background check

•  Attend a mandatory training and orientation session

•  Agree to uphold the core values of Ladies of Distinction, including

• confidentiality, encouragement, and accountability

Each mentor is equipped to walk alongside our girls with love, honesty, and wisdom.

Q. Is faith included in the program?

Answer: Yes, faith is gently and intentionally woven into the Ladies of Distinction experience. While we welcome girls from all backgrounds, our foundation is rooted in Christian values such as love, purpose, self-worth, and servant leadership. Girls will be encouraged through uplifting messages, affirmations, and guiding principles that reflect God’s truth — helping them see that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and destined for greatness.
